Some random things I've done:
I wrote, with help from many other MIT ToC members, some parodies for MIT Theory Cornfest in 2023 and 2024.
I made a leather wallet. Although the stitching is a bit crooked, I think it's held up pretty well with a year's use. The leather has developed a bit of a shine.
Inspired by Chelsea Voss's blog post, I made two scarves based on cellular automata (see Chelsea's blog for a nice introduction). The rules I picked were Rule 90 (the Sierpinski triangle) and Rule 30 (the pseudorandom number generator).
I also knitted a chess scarf based on grandmaster games. The two boards incorporated are from Levitsky vs. Marshall (1912) and from Anand vs. Lautier (1997).
